High precision ball screw drive, low inertia and zero backlash, extreme positioning control, excellent for applications with high dynamics and high linear speeds.

Powerful alternative to the use of pneumatic cylinders in case of high dynamics (high speed, acceleration and deceleration, frequent back and forth inversion of the movement), precise positioning and low energy consumption.

Area Gripping Systems and End Effectors

Area gripping systems and end effectors are gripping systems that can be attached directly on the robot.

Schmalz sealing foams are used on vacuum gripping systems from Schmalz such as the area gripping system FXP/FMP and the area gripping system FMHD as well as on grippers from other manufacturers. The advantage of sealing foams is that you can handle different workpieces with minimum leaks using the same gripper. This allows you to move workpieces with unevenness, roughness and gaps dynamically and efficiently.
